Our Team

Our firm is comprised of a large staff of professionals from various education and industry backgrounds.

Principals

Mark L. Landy, CPA

Mark Landy has been a principal with Miller, Allen & Co., P.C. for more than 20 years. He has served terms on the AICPA Governmental Technical Standards Subcommittee and the Governmental Accounting and Auditing Committee, and is currently serving a term on the AICPA Technical Standards Subcommittee. Mark served eight years on the Arizona State Board of Accountancy's Accounting and Auditing Standards Committee and five years on the Certification Advisory Committee. He has served on the ASCPA Governmental Accounting Conference Committee since its inception and has also served on the AICPA Annual National Governmental Accounting Auditing Update Conference Steering Committee. Mark was Chair of the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants for 2005-2006. In addition to his professional activities, Mark is also active in community service where he has served on the Board of Directors of numerous nonprofit organizations including serving in the positions of treasurer and vice president of Family Service Agency. Mark also currently serves on the Advisory Board for Republic Bank AZ, N.A. Mark is a native of Phoenix and graduate from the University of Arizona.

Steve T. Harris, CPA

Steve Harris has been performing auditing and tax services for over 25 years. He has extensive experience with a broad range of industries, but his specialties lie in Tribal Gaming, hospitality and retail. Steve is a recognized leader in the field of Tribal Gaming. He has performed training for casinos of varying sizes and has led the firm's Tribal gaming practice for over 15 years.

Steve serves on the Arizona State Board of Accountancy, Accounting and Auditing Standards Committee.

Tom L. Friend, CPA

Tom Friend joined the Firm in 1991 and has over 17 years of extensive accounting and audit knowledge in a broad range of fields such as municipalities, non-profit organizations, retail operations, hotel and resorts, gaming, agricultural and farming operations, construction, employee retirement and benefit plans, and forensic investigations. Tom has also performed investigative and analysis assistance to several buyers for the acquisition of multi-million dollar property interests.

Tom was born and raised in Phoenix and graduated from Arizona State University in 1990 majoring in accounting. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Robert N. Snyder, CPA

Robert Snyder joined the firm in 1996, immediately after graduating from Arizona State University and became a principal with the firm in 2006. Robert specializes in the accounting and auditing of governments, governmental enterprises and not-for-profit organizations. His industry experience also includes manufacturing, hospitality and health care.

He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants.
